YoungLife Leadership Development 1 & 2

YoungLife is a Christian ministry that reaches out to middle school, high school, and college students in all fifty of the United States and in more than one hundred countries around the world. Based on a ministry model that includes clubs on school campuses and camps in eighteen states, YoungLife has chapters in nearly ten thousand schools, with average weekly attendance approaching half-a-million young people. To operate successfully, YoungLife relies on nearly seventy thousand volunteers. Over the course of two available semesters, students within YoungLife Leadership I and II, will understand the history, mission, and philosophy of YoungLife, survey the different service and leadership opportunities available, and be thoroughly equipped to lead within this burgeoning program. This Frameworks course was developed by YoungLife staff and volunteers who provide unique insights into a program within a unique Christian mission and culture.
