Beginning each August, Colson Fellows-in-Training follow a carefully curated curriculum accessible through the Colson Fellows Online Learning Platform.
Participants will engage 6–8 hours per week in prayerful reading, reflection, and study, including:
• Daily devotionals that integrate theology and lived experience
• 12–14 carefully selected books
• Twice-monthly live webinars with respected Christian thinkers
• Monthly in-person meetings at Northwest Christian School
The monthly meetings are the heart of the experience—discussion-driven learning communities where participants process what they are learning together under the guidance of trained Colson Fellows leaders. These gatherings are not lectures, but environments of mutual encouragement, accountability, and spiritual sharpening.
Throughout the year, CFITs thoughtfully examine important issues facing the Church today—not as detached observers, but as disciples asking, “How then shall we live?” The emphasis is not reaction, but faithfulness; not argumentation, but wisdom; not anxiety, but confidence rooted in Christ.
Each participant also develops a Personal Mission Plan designed to help them prayerfully discern how God has uniquely wired and positioned them. This plan flows from the conviction that calling is discovered through surrender, and fruitfulness flows from abiding (John 15).
