Frameworks Biblical Worldview Courses

World Religions

What does it mean to believe in the “exclusivity of Christ”? In John 14, when Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man comes to the Father save through Me,” did He really mean that all those across our world that deeply hold to, authentically believe, and sincerely practice faiths apart from Christianity are excluded from the Father? This Frameworks course answers these questions directly through a study of the historical development of the major world religions from creation through to their development in India (Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, and Sikhism), the Far East (Taoism, Confucianism, and Shintoism), and the Near East (Zoroastrianism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam). Students within this Frameworks course will be equipped to understand and articulate the historical and philosophical aspects of the major religions of the world and their associated worldview. In the process, they will fully understand the confidence and trust that can be had in the person of Jesus.
