NCS Flex is a hybrid online program that allows fully online students to participate in the vibrant campus and culture of Northwest Christian School. We are constantly innovating and creating new and exciting ways for our online students to be part of the incredible community and culture that God has created at NCS.

Elementary Flex
We have an exciting new format for our K-5 Flex students! Our Flex students can join us on campus every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for a combination of chapel, in-person specials (Library, Spanish, Music, Art, PE, Technology and Literacy), academic time in our Flex Student Lounge, missions learning opportunities, academic field trips, lunch, and instructional time in ELA and math on a weekly basis. 

Beginning in January of 2026, Elementary Online and Flex students will have access to optional daily live instruction (via zoom) in Math and English Language Arts!

Middle School Flex
From athletics and clubs to weekly chapels and service opportunities, 6th-8th grade Flex students are fully invited to engage in the vibrant student life at Northwest Christian School. They can participate in middle school sports teams, join clubs and extracurricular activities, attend weekly chapels, and take part in mission trips and service learning projects. Flex students are also welcome at school assemblies, field days, and special events such as 6th Grade Day, the 8th Grade Trip, and 8th Grade Promotion. Middle School Flex empowers students to thrive academically while remaining actively involved socially, spiritually, and emotionally—all within a supportive Christian community.

  • Flex Student Lounge

    We are thrilled to announce the opening of our brand new NCS Flex Student Lounge space designed specifically for our secondary NCS Flex students! This dedicated space opened January 2025 and is already providing a welcoming and structured environment for NCS Flex students on campus!
    • As part of their NCS Flex tuition, NCS Flex students are allotted 21 hours per week in the Flex Student Lounge at no extra cost. 
    • The NCS Flex Student Lounge is open to students from 7:50 AM to 3:00 PM.
    • The NCS Flex Student Lounge is also available for on-campus students taking online classes, space permitting.
    • Participation in chapel is a requirement for students utilizing the NCS Flex Student Lounge during chapel time on Wednesdays.
    • The NCS Flex Student Lounge will be staffed for supervision and general assistance. Our staff is available to support and encourage students, fostering a productive learning environment. While this support is valuable, it is meant to complement the role of a learning coach or tutoring services. If your child needs additional academic assistance, tutoring services are available and can be scheduled to meet their individual needs.

High School Flex
High School Flex students enjoy the flexibility of fully online learning while staying deeply connected to the heart of the NCS community. They are invited to participate in a wide range of on-campus and virtual activities, including high school athletics, clubs, National Honor Society, school dances such as Homecoming and Prom, assemblies, service projects, mission trips, and more. Creative opportunities abound through fine arts programs like the fall play, spring musical, virtual talent shows, the school’s audio drama podcast, and the school film. With so many ways to get involved, High School Flex empowers students in grades 9–12 to grow academically while remaining engaged socially, creatively, and spiritually.
